How does stake holders & owners Benefit?
CMG offers more flexible contract terms. With CMG and its affiliations, it allows stakeholders and hotel owners, who have limited time or wish to be engaged in other business activities, to benefit from the combined global distribution system of a renowned international brand and the personalized services of a management company.
Choosing a Brand
Branding is one of the most important facets of your business. CMG strongly believes in the power of a brand. Whether to provide peace of mind to international travellers going to a new destination, assurance on service delivery, an array of loyalty benefits to frequent guests or simply for security reasons, brands have consistently been shown to impact purchase decisions.
Working with international brands also gives access to global distribution systems, the brand’s central reservation system, sales forces and procurement savings; with branded hotels often commanding a higher average daily rate (ADR) than independent competitors. However, in order to benefit from the power of branding, hotels must deliver on the brand promise. CMG will assist with this process through services including the day-to-day operations in compliance with brand standards.
CMG creates an effective brand strategy to target the market and your competitors. We subsequently begin the negotiations regarding the provision of the franchise agreement for an international hotel franchise brand. In this framework, consultancy services provided to investors are as follows: representing the investor as “investor’s / owner’s representative” in all the aspects concerning the brand; participating and guiding the negotiations between the brand and the investor/owner.
Technical Services & Design
The Group’s Technical Services & Design (TSD) department is responsible for design and construction management of new hotel projects. The team supervises the property’s maintenance programs and also coordinates renovation scopes of existing hotels and resorts. TSD associates also work closely with the owner, project management team and design consultants.
TSD team oversees the project from the early stages of planning through construction until completion and handover to the operations team. The team works with architects and consultants to achieve the maximum value for each project, ensuring that every property is built efficiently and in line with design and brand standards. TSD inspects the construction sites regularly to ensure that the quality goals are met throughout the project development phase to aid the timely opening of the hotels.
CMG’s, TSD ensures that the FLS (fire, life, safety), the security of the property and the usage of all necessary hygiene practices are implemented in all areas of the hotel. All of the above must be online with the local and international requirements.
A design control document that outlines the hotel’s necessary affiliate components is provided to the appointed consultants to serve as guidelines and the qualities applicable for the selected brand requirements and standards.
Human Resources, Training & Development
We undertake the task of recruiting the highest level general manager and department heads, we prepare orientation & induction programs, training manuals to comply with the chosen brand standards, training of all hotel employees and management, while implementing the hotel’s organizational structure and graphs for the property, job descriptions for all senior management, department heads, supervisors, and rank & file employees. The HR department follows up on management evaluations, personal development /succession planning and conducts employee satisfaction surveys etc. Recruitment policies, salary scales, labor relations and workers compensation, incentive & bonus schemes as well as employee benefits are introduced in accordance with the local labor laws.
Opening a hotel is a complicated process, which requires a skilled team. Each and every member of CMG management team personally led or participated in multiple hotel openings and has all the necessary expertise that’s required to deliver a successful opening.
Regardless of the size of the hotel, some specific phases and procedures must be respected and followed.
It usually takes between six to nine months, pending the size of a hotel and its location, to implement all planned actions before the soft opening of a hotel. The pre-opening phase includes many challenges and opportunities. Considering the budget plan, the task force management needs to set up alternate arrangements to backfill the critical period of the first year of operation. It is done to achieve financial objectives as well as a return on investment.
It is vital to achieve the best results at each phase by planning all steps carefully in order to fulfill all the demands of the owners/investors and the brand standards. Every aspect and potential risk must be considered and merged with a strategy.
